Transient Horizons is an ongoing series of skyscapes which explores shifting motifs that reflect both personal loss and the ever-changing patterns of our environment. Through vivid colors and dramatic contrasts of light and shadow, the images evoke a moody, ethereal, and atmospheric quality, inviting contemplation on themes of impermanence, mental health, and the transient nature of existence.
This work is created organically, positioning myself as an observer and recorder of these fleeting visual occurrences. By relinquishing control and allowing nature to dictate its own artistic process, I embrace chance and change—fundamental forces that shape both our internal and external worlds.
It serves as a reminder that magic can emerge from emptiness and the unexpected. Just as water vapor creates illusions when it takes the form of clouds, we too can shift, adapt, and appear as something that may not truly exist. Our forms change depending on our surroundings and the people we encounter. Like clouds, we are constantly shifting and evolving—solid one moment, only to dissolve the next. Who can say what shape our lives will take next?
The series also pays homage to the Romanticism movement of the early 1800s, drawing on its fascination with nature’s mystical power and unpredictability. Through these images, I seek to capture the delicate balance between beauty and uncertainty, chaos and tranquility—inviting viewers to find their own meaning in the ever-changing skies.
